Be scared. I really just might bite you.

Still life II

After learning all the different kinds of drawing techniques after doing the first chair exercise, to begin this drawing what much easier. To begin with, I measured the length of the height and width of the overall scale onto my paper. Then I stared off with the cube on the down left corner, using my string to measure out the angles of the lines. It was not easy to get the measurement entirely correct. Even now, after I’ve “finished” the drawing there seems to be so much I can work on to perfect this drawing. I did get another sense of the connection between each lines, how when I change one of the lines, the others are also effected. I was kind of bummed that I didn’t get to draw more of the bottles and the front of the statue due to the angle I’m standing at, it just seems so interesting.Image
