Be scared. I really just might bite you.

Still Life I-Chair profect

This is the first still life I did for my ART160 class. Before this I haven’t done very much still life, so I’ve learned a lot during this exercise. For example, using strings to measure the angles and length of the lines of the actual object and transfer the relationship onto my drawing. I started with the seat of the chair, and defined the other relationships accordingly. During the drawing process, I find it interesting how each line is related to each other. These relationships can help me understand where and how each line should be. But this also means when I make a mistake on one line, the others are also effected. This makes the corrections so much more complicated.
